An video about charged parallel plates by Coco Coyle
Score: 51Arpan says: This video really helps explain parallel plates in an easy to understand and clear way. I think the initial diagram of the parallel plates with electric field and voltage really helps to clear up some of my misconceptions.
Alden Neely says: I liked the way that Coco used real plates, clay and arrows to describe the way that parallel plates actually work. I hadn't had that knowledge before, and I could work problems fine, but it's nice to have an intuition for why the field is constant everywhere.
Josh Huang says: This video does a good job of breaking down parallel plates more fundamentally, both in terms of how it works and how to apply it. I liked the part at 1:12 where she stated the only things you needed to know to solve for the electric field. This makes parallel plates seem much easier as I understood the parts she broke it down into. I would've liked if she had spoken less quickly, sometimes it was a lot to comprehend in a short time.
